Duck hunting is superb. This area has thousands of playa lakes, tail-water pits, and feedyard lakes.

Ducks in this area concentrate on whatever water can be found, increasing the chance of a quick limit, and assuring a fast-paced,  exciting hunt. Most of our "honey holes" have built in blinds  in order to keep you as comfortable as possible.

Our blinds range from underground pits, above-ground sheds, and docks built above the water in the center of playa lakes.

Straps are usually mixed, including Mallards, Teal, Widgeon, and Gadwall. Pintails and Canvasback are plentiful in the area as well; however they are both part of a conservation program being conducted by Texas Parks and Wildlife, and the season varies from year to year.
